The Arduino Due is one of the most powerful models in the Arduino family of boards.
It's based on a powerful SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller that incorporates all the classic Arduino functionalities and adds new ones.
It offers a total of 54 input/output pins (12 of which are PWM with configurable resolution), 12 analog inputs with 12-bit resolution, 4 hardware UART ports and 2 digital-to-analog converters (DACs), an 84MHz quartz resonator, and 2 USB connections (one for programming and the other that can act as a USB Host).
It also includes ICSP and JTAG programming pins. The maximum pin voltage is 3.3V, so caution is advised, and 5V devices should not be connected as they could damage the board.
