Raspberry Pi Line
Raspberry Pi is a low-cost computer or processor that is the size of a credit card and connects to a computer monitor or TV, using a standard keyboard and mouse.
What is Raspberry Pi?
Raspberry Pi is a series of small computers slightly larger than a credit card that were developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in association with Broadcom . Initially, the Raspberry Pi focus was on promoting the teaching of basic computer science in schools and in developing countries. The original model became more popular than anticipated, selling out of its target market for uses such as robotics, if not as a media player device, and other industrial purposes. In general, it is used by computer and electronics enthusiasts, due to its adoption of HDMI and USB devices.
Several generations of Raspberry Pi have been appearing on the market, and chronologically we can make the following summary:
Raspberry Pi model B : BCM2835 processor, 256Mb, Ethernet
Raspberry Pi model A : BCM2835 processor, 256Mb
Raspberry Pi model B + : BCM2835 processor, 512Mb, Ethernet
Raspberry Pi 2 model B : BCM2836 / 7 processor, 1Gb, Ethernet
Raspberry Pi Zero : BCM2835 processor, 512Mb
Raspberry Pi 3 model B : Processor BCM2837A0 / B0, 1Gb, Ethernet
Raspberry Pi 3 model B + : Processor BCM2837B0, 1Gb, Ethernet
Raspberry Pi 4 model B : Processor BCM2711, 1Gb / 2Gb / 4Gb / 8Gb, Gigabit Ethernet
Raspberry Pi 400 : Processor BCM2711, 4Gb, Gigabit Ethernet
