The CA41COL16 is a 16-way multicolour ribbon cable with a 1.27 mm pitch, designed for neat interconnection of electronic boards, modules, signal buses and control systems. Its flat cable format makes routing inside enclosures, instrumentation equipment and automation systems easier, reducing crossings and tangles compared with loose wires.
The cable structure consists of 16 parallel 28 AWG conductors, each made from tinned copper (tinned Cu), improving corrosion resistance and solderability. Individual insulation and the outer jacket are made of PVC, providing good mechanical and electrical performance for signal and light power applications.
With a 1.27 mm pitch, this flat cable is compatible with IDC connectors and standard 1.27 mm pin headers, commonly used in digital electronics, embedded systems and internal equipment wiring. The multicolour coding of the conductors makes it easy to identify each way and helps to minimise wiring errors during assembly and servicing.
The operating temperature range of -20 ºC to +80 ºC and the rated working voltage of 300 V allow the CA41COL16 to be used in most light industrial electronics environments, laboratories, prototypes and internal wiring of production equipment.
