Cables
Ribbon Cables
CACA41
A flat cable or ribbon cable is a cable with several conductive wires and their insulators placed in parallel.
Most of these cables are connected by dielectric displacement system (IDC) and are used or used in older computers, but they are still used industrially to connect boards, sensors ... both internally and externally. These types of cables handle signals so their conductors do not have much section. And although it is much less usual, they are also manufactured with shielding.
Within this section we have included another type of parallel cable with a larger section that we use for power, for example in LED strips. Its connection system is no longer due to the displacement of the dielectric.
