Alnico magnets are made of an alloy of aluminum, nickel and cobalt. Among its properties we find its great resistance to high temperatures, so its magnetic properties support a wide spectrum from -250ºC to 425ºC. In addition, they have a high level of magnetic induction, but, in turn, have a low level of coercivity, so this type of magnet can become magnetized and demagnetized. It should be noted that it is also very resistant to chemicals, such as acids or solvents, as well as having great resistance to oxidation.
Alnico magnets have many applications, so there are different formats of it.
Due to its many properties and designs, these are used in various sectors such as electric motors, electric guitar pickups, MRI machines, speakers, sensors, headphones, generators or aerospace sensors, for example.
