There are 3 elements that make up the cable:
• Conductor: the element that conducts current (copper or aluminum)
• Insulation: Coats conductive metal so current only flows through it.
• Filler layer: insulation that surrounds the conductive elements.
• Cover: protects the insulation of the conductors from the action of external agents.
