The device features a resistive soil moisture sensor board, with resistance values ranging from hundreds of ohms to tens of ohms depending on the moisture level.
The EVAL01-Hydro-RM-H402 provides a unique ID number and moisture data from the soil or associated sensor material, making it ideal for asset tracking.
It is suitable for applications such as greenhouse plant cultivation and building predictive maintenance.
Data is acquired using EPC C1 commands G2, so no custom commands are required.
This RFID UHF sensor is compatible with commercially available UHF RFID readers (EPC C1G2).
