The isolated DC-DC converter provides regulated power with galvanic isolation between its input and output, allowing you to separate ground references and eliminate ground loops or leakage currents in sensitive designs. This module operates from a 4.5 V to 5.5 V input and provides a default 5 V output, with the option to select 5.5 V via a selection pin.
The converter can deliver up to 300 mA continuous output current, making it suitable for powering microcontrollers, isolated sensors or other logic loads where independent input and output grounds are important. With galvanic isolation, the output ground (GNDS) is electrically independent from the input ground (GNDP), improving system safety and reducing interference in critical applications.
The design includes protection against over-temperature and short circuits, providing robust performance and reliable integration in automation, instrumentation or industrial control systems. The module is compact and features 0.1″ pitch through holes compatible with standard breadboards.
