USB to UART Cable with RS232 Level UART Signals

This converter cable uses the FT232R chip combined with an RS232 level converter, the cable is a CE, FCC, and UKCA approved product and is one of the USB – The simplest RS232 converter available.

This converter is powered through the USB port and the RS232 signals are exposed on unterminated cables, allowing the user to fit an appropriate connector to suit their system needs.

The cable can be used with FTDI drivers to provide a virtual COM port on a PC capable of RS232 communication speeds from 300 baud to 1 MBaud.

The USB connector housing the converter is transparent and has visible RX and TX data LEDs.

This converter cable model provides a 5 Vcc voltage output.
