Automatic residual current differentials are used for personal protection and disconnect a circuit when a current fault is detected, which flows through the protective earth (PE). This RCD tester determines the trip current and trip time of the residual current circuit breakers used in each new building, in accordance with current building regulations.
The various selectable test currents and characteristics of the FI allow flexible use of this instrument. IF testers allow a fault current to flow and determine which fault current the IF reacts to. In addition, the reaction time is measured. These two parameters of trip current and trip time are the relevant characteristics for measuring the safety of an RCD
3-digit LCD display with backlight.
