The SUNON DP200A-2123XST.GN is a 120 × 120 × 38 mm AC axial fan fitted with a shaded-pole motor and lubricated sleeve-bearing system. It is intended to provide forced airflow in equipment and ventilation or cooling systems compatible with its electrical and environmental operating conditions.
It can operate from 50 Hz or 60 Hz supplies. Performance varies with supply frequency, so speed, airflow, static pressure, current, power and noise level must always be interpreted using the corresponding 50 Hz or 60 Hz values shown in the specifications.
The frame is made from die-cast aluminium and the impeller from thermoplastic PBT with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Airflow is directed towards the label side and the motor is impedance protected. SUNON recommends suitable electrical or thermal protection in the end product and specifies that power-supply PWM must not be used to control fan speed.
As reference reliability data, the manufacturer’s life test for this model used 50 samples at 230 V AC, 60 Hz and 70 °C, mounted vertically and running in free air. The test produced an MTTF of 40 371 h and an L10 value of 16 982 h. SUNON expressly states that L10 and MTTF life-test reports are for reference only and that service life must be evaluated in the final application.
