The PHASAK PH 7312 Sirius is a 1200 VA / 720 W line-interactive uninterruptible power supply designed to protect computers, storage systems and network equipment against mains failures, voltage fluctuations and surges.
It incorporates automatic voltage regulation (AVR), allowing variations in the incoming mains supply to be corrected without continuously using the batteries. When operating from battery power, the UPS provides a simulated sine-wave output at 230 V AC ±10 %.
The unit provides 4 battery-backed Schuko outlets together with surge protection. Energy storage is provided by two sealed, maintenance-free 12 V / 7 Ah VRLA AGM batteries with automatic charging. Cold start and automatic restart functions are also supported.
The LCD displays information including input and output voltage, connected load level and battery status. An LED indicator and audible alarms also provide notification of battery operation, low battery, overload and fault conditions.
A USB communication port allows computer-based management using PHASAK PowerMaster software for Windows, Linux and Mac. Front-mounted USB-A and USB-C charging ports provide a combined 5 V / 2.4 A output.
The UPS should be installed indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The manufacturer specifies at least 20 cm of free space around the unit for adequate ventilation.
It should be connected directly to an earthed wall socket protected by a fuse or circuit breaker. The manufacturer recommends avoiding extension leads and not connecting high-demand loads such as laser printers, photocopiers or heaters to the battery-backed outlets.
Before first use, the UPS should remain connected to the mains for at least 8 hours to fully charge the batteries. The product is not intended for medical or life-support equipment. Battery servicing should be carried out or supervised by qualified personnel.
