The TE Connectivity RT114730, manufacturer part number 1-1393239-9, is a general-purpose electromechanical power relay from the SCHRACK RT1 series. It is designed for through-hole (THT) mounting on a printed circuit board and uses a 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz monostable coil.
It provides one Form C changeover contact, equivalent to SPDT/1 CO, with a rated current of 12 A at 250 V AC. The contact uses AgNi90/10 silver-nickel alloy and supports a maximum switching voltage of 400 V AC.
The coil has a rated power of 0.74 VA and a resistance of 32.5 kΩ. For this 230 V AC variant, the manufacturer specifies an operate voltage of 172.5 V AC and a release voltage of 34.5 V AC, measured at 23 °C and 50 Hz.
The relay provides reinforced insulation between the coil and contact, with an initial dielectric strength of 5 kV RMS and coil-to-contact clearance and creepage distances of at least 10 mm. The enclosure is RTII flux-proof.
It uses solder terminals and is suitable for wave soldering. Its specified operating temperature range is −40 °C to 70 °C, and its mechanical endurance exceeds 10 million operations.
The RT1 series is intended for switching functions in control and automation equipment, including boiler controls, timers, garage-door controls, point-of-sale automation systems and interface modules.
