The TE Connectivity RT114005, TE part number 1393239-7, is a general-purpose electromechanical power relay from the SCHRACK RT1 series. It is designed for through-hole (THT) mounting on a printed circuit board and uses a 5 V DC monostable coil.
It provides one Form C changeover contact, equivalent to SPDT/1 CO, with a rated current of 12 A at 250 V AC. The contact uses AgNi90/10 material and supports a maximum switching voltage of 400 V AC.
The coil has a nominal resistance of 62 Ω and a rated power of 0.403 W. For the 5 V DC variant, the manufacturer specifies an operate voltage of 3.5 V DC and a release voltage of 0.5 V DC, measured with the coil without pre-energisation at an ambient temperature of 23 °C.
The relay provides reinforced insulation between the coil and contact, with an initial dielectric strength of 5 kV RMS and coil-to-contact clearance and creepage distances of at least 10 mm. The enclosure has an RTII environmental protection category and is flux-proof.
It uses solder terminals and is suitable for wave soldering. The DC-coil version can operate from −40 °C to 85 °C and has a specified mechanical endurance of more than 30 million operations.
The RT1 series is intended for switching functions in control and automation equipment. Manufacturer-listed applications include boiler controls, timers, garage-door controls, point-of-sale automation systems and interface modules.
