The Relpol RM87N-2011-35-1024 is a general-purpose electromechanical relay with a 24 V DC coil and one changeover contact (1 CO, SPDT). In the de-energised state, common terminal 11 is connected to normally closed contact 12 (NC). When the coil is energised, it switches to normally open contact 14 (NO) and returns to its initial state when the coil is de-energised.
It uses AgNi contacts. The rated load is 12 A / 250 V AC in AC1 and 12 A / 24 V DC in DC1. Switching capacity depends on the type of load, so the corresponding ratings must be observed for inductive loads, motors and other utilisation categories.
The relay can be mounted directly on a printed circuit board (PCB) or used with a compatible socket. The RM87N variant has a 3.5 mm terminal pitch; this reference is fitted with an IP67 rated cover. Reinforced insulation is provided between the coil and contacts.
The relay must be selected, connected and used within the limits specified by the manufacturer. Installation and servicing must be carried out by qualified personnel; incorrect connection may cause malfunction, excessive heating and a risk of fire.
