The Raspberry Pi Zero WH is a compact single-board computer based on the Broadcom BCM2835 SoC. It combines a 1 GHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The operating system and data are stored on a microSD card, and the board supports Raspberry Pi OS.
The WH designation identifies the Raspberry Pi Zero W variant supplied with a factory-soldered 40-pin male GPIO header. It retains the Zero W features while allowing compatible cables, modules and HAT boards to be connected directly, without fitting or soldering the header.
Video and peripheral connections comprise a mini HDMI output, a micro-USB OTG port and a separate micro-USB power connector. The 22-pin mini CSI connector supports Raspberry Pi cameras using the Zero-series camera cable. Connection points are also provided for composite video and reset.
The GPIO header provides digital inputs and outputs together with alternative functions including I²C, SPI, UART and PWM. GPIO signals operate at 3.3 V and must not be driven with 5 V. Motors and other higher-current loads require a suitable external driver or control stage.
Its 65 × 30 mm footprint, wireless connectivity and fitted GPIO header allow it to be integrated into sensor nodes, automation systems, educational prototypes, compact controllers, robotics projects and camera-based applications. Commissioning requires a microSD card and a 5 V micro-USB power supply. Peripherals fitted with a USB-A connector require a micro-USB OTG adaptor.
