The OWON VDS1022I is a 2-channel digital PC oscilloscope with a 25 MHz bandwidth and a maximum real-time sampling rate of 100 MSa/s. It connects to and is powered through USB, using the computer for instrument display and control.
It provides a 5 kpts record length, 8-bit vertical resolution and an input sensitivity from 5 mV/div to 5 V/div. The timebase extends from 5 ns/div to 100 s/div.
It supports sample, peak-detect and average acquisition modes together with several trigger types, including edge, pulse, video, slope and alternate. It also provides automatic measurements, waveform maths, FFT and X-Y display.
The VDS1022I incorporates isolation on its USB 2.0 interface, intended to reduce interference and provide additional protection for the connected computer. This feature relates to the USB interface and should not be interpreted as independent isolation of the measurement inputs.
The instrument also includes a multifunction interface that can be used for synchronised input/output, Pass/Fail testing or external trigger input.
For safe measurements, the specified input limits must be observed and probes and configurations appropriate to the signal being measured must be used.
