Mini hot plate for PCB rework, preheating and reflow soldering, with PID temperature control and a 50 × 50 mm heating surface. The HT-P1B variant supports both DC input and USB-C Power Delivery, including PD 3.1 compatibility.
The operating range is 100 to 350 °C and power can be configured from 30 to 150 W to match the actual capability of the connected supply. With DC input, the manufacturer specifies up to 150 W continuous power. DC and USB-C inputs must not be used at the same time.
Constant-temperature mode heats rapidly to the selected value and maintains it under PID control. Three quick temperature memories —T1, T2 and T3— can be configured within the operating range for rapid switching between commonly used values.
Reflow mode simulates a three-stage thermal profile —heating, soaking and soldering— with configurable temperatures and times. It is intended for small PCBs, SMD component work, desoldering and preheating before using other rework tools.
The 1.44-inch colour display shows current and target temperature, heating state, input voltage, elapsed time and power level. The menu allows adjustment of brightness, volume, °C/°F units, language, available power, heating duration and reflow-profile parameters.
Safety functions include over-temperature protection, low-voltage warning, long-duration protection and excessive-tilt detection. If a system or sensor fault occurs, the unit displays a warning and stops heating; tilt protection allows heating to resume once the unit returns to a safe position.
Temperature can be calibrated at three points —120, 220 and 320 °C— using an external thermometer, and firmware can be updated through USB-C. The unit has a detachable construction for maintenance; stated dimensions are approximately 68.8 × 81.8 × 44.5 mm and weight is about 157 g.
Use a power supply whose real output capability matches the power value configured in the unit. An undersized supply may cause restarts or prevent the target temperature from being reached. The surface can reach 350 °C: do not touch it during operation, avoid prolonged unloaded operation at maximum temperature and switch the unit off when left unattended.
