The Nitto Denko 1038 is a 19 mm wide, 20 m long double-sided adhesive tape intended for indoor mounting and fixing work. It uses a white PVC carrier with acrylic adhesive on both sides.
Its total thickness is 0.2 mm, allowing bonds with little separation between the joined surfaces. The distributor specifies an adhesive strength of 0.13 N/mm and a tensile strength of 3.35 N/cm².
It can be used to secure carpets, floor coverings and lightweight items, and on wood, metal or plastic surfaces when suitable for this type of adhesive. The surface should be clean and prepared to promote uniform adhesion.
