The Toolland 3472BPN is a digital caliper with a measuring range of 0 to 150 mm (0 to 6 inches), designed for dimensional measurements with direct readout on a large LCD. Its current PVC construction provides a lightweight measuring tool for general workshop and DIY use.
The measuring range is 0–150 mm, with a resolution of 0.1 mm and a specified accuracy of ±0.2 mm. These figures describe different measuring characteristics: resolution is the smallest displayed increment and should not be interpreted as being equivalent to measurement accuracy.
The caliper supports outside, inside, depth and step measurements. It also provides zero setting for relative or deviation measurements, absolute positioning and direct selection between millimetres and inches.
Controls include on/off, zero setting and mm/inch selection. The manufacturer's current product information specifies two included SR44 batteries and an approximate weight of 90 g.
