Digital night-vision monocular for daytime, low-light and total-darkness observation. It uses 850 nm infrared illumination when visible light is unavailable and, according to the manufacturer, can reach up to 300 m in total darkness; in low light, the stated observation range starts at 2 m and extends to infinity.
Infrared illumination can be adjusted from the unit controls to suit the scene. Objective focus is adjusted manually with a focus wheel, while electronic zoom reaches 6×. The stated objective-lens diameter is 25 mm.
In addition to observation, the unit can take photographs, record video and play files back directly. Video recording supports up to 4K —3840 × 2160— together with 2K, 1080FHD, 720P, VGA and QVGA. Still-image resolution is selectable up to 36 MP.
Video settings include loop recording, WDR, motion detection and date stamping. Photo settings include image quality, sharpness, white balance, electronic anti-shake, quick preview, date stamping and ISO. The selected resolution, infrared level, exposure, zoom, card status and battery state are shown on the display.
A 1.54-inch high-definition IPS display provides direct viewing and playback. Files are stored on a TF card; the current manufacturer page states a 32 GB card. USB-C is used for charging, and the manual also states support for firmware updates.
Power is provided by a 3.7 V 18650 battery installed in the battery compartment, with USB-C charging at 5 V / 1 A. The manual warns that using non-original 18650 batteries may cause inaccurate battery-level indication.
The unit provides a tripod thread and wrist-strap eyelet. The manufacturer states IPX6 water protection, although the manual recommends avoiding rain and mist and keeping the unit clean and dry; IPX6 should therefore not be treated as permission for immersion or as a substitute for normal care.
Suitable uses include night observation, non-professional environmental monitoring, outdoor activities and exploration in low light. Do not use the unit in flammable or explosive environments; avoid impacts, drops and obstruction of the infrared illuminator, and store the unit in a dry place when not in use.
