The Samsung INR18650-35E is a rechargeable lithium-ion cell in the 18650 format, with a nominal voltage of 3.6 V. It is intended for applications requiring high energy capacity within the standard dimensions of a cylindrical 18650 cell.
Samsung specifies a minimum standard discharge capacity of 3350 mAh under its specified test conditions. The cell supports a maximum continuous discharge current of 8 A and discharge of up to 13 A under non-continuous conditions. The latter value should therefore not be interpreted as a current that can be sustained continuously.
Charging uses the CC-CV method, up to a charge voltage of 4.2 V. The standard charging current is 1700 mA and the specified maximum charging current is 2000 mA.
This product is a cell intended for integration. The equipment or battery pack into which it is incorporated must provide an appropriate charging system and suitable protection while respecting the specified voltage, current and temperature limits. Short circuits, reverse polarity and operating conditions that may cause overcharge or over-discharge must be avoided.
For permanent electrical connections, conductors must not be soldered directly to the cell terminals, as the heat may damage internal components. Connection methods suitable for this type of cell should be used, such as tabs or terminals attached by spot welding.
