12 V AGM VRLA lead-acid battery with a commercial nominal capacity of 5 Ah, part of a stationary range and designed with valve regulation to provide stored power for compatible equipment.
Specified capacity is 5.07 Ah at the 20-hour rate down to 1.75 V per cell at 20 °C, and 4.63 Ah at the 10-hour rate down to 1.8 V per cell at 20 °C. For a 10-minute constant-power discharge, the manufacturer states 190.2 W per block down to 9.6 V and 31.7 W per cell down to 1.6 V/cell, at 20 °C.
For float service, the specified charge voltage at 20 °C is 13.65 V per block with ±1% tolerance and a charge-current limit of 1.2675 A. For cyclic or boost charging, the stated voltage is 14.5 V per block with ±3% tolerance, using the same current limit.
It supports high discharge currents for short intervals: up to 150 A for 1 s and 50 A for 1 min. The datasheet states a short-circuit current of 100 A according to EN IEC 60896-21 and an internal resistance of 24 mΩ measured at 1 kHz.
The block measures 90 × 70 × 102 mm and weighs approximately 2 kg. It uses a 6.35 mm Faston terminal and a standard ABS case with UL94 HB flammability classification.
It can be discharged from −20 to +60 °C, charged from −15 to +50 °C and stored fully charged from −20 to +60 °C. Capacity loss in storage is approximately 3% per month at 20 °C.
The stated EUROBAT classification is Commercial Standard, 3 to 5 years, while the manufacturer’s design life is up to 5 years at 20 °C. It may be installed and operated at orientations up to 90° from the upright position.
Each cell has a low-pressure release valve that allows gases to escape and then reseals. VRLA batteries may release hydrogen gas and must not be installed in a sealed container. At end of life, the battery must be recycled in accordance with applicable regulations.
