Kingston was created in 1987, when two engineers and friends, John Tu and David Sun, saw an opportunity in the technological environment.
During a severe shortage of surface-mounted memory chips, they designed a new type of of memory module that would redefine industry standards for years to come. What started in a garage quickly grew into a technological powerhouse. Although Kingston has since left the small garage behind, it maintains the same high standards of quality, reliability and customer service.
Today, Kingston is the world's leading manufacturer of solutions memory and storage.
