This small three-axis accelerometer is a base support panel for Freescale XYZ MMA7361L, a large low-g sensor with analog voltage outputs and an adjustable sensitivity (± 3 g or ± 11 g), and a digital output detection 0 g that signals when the plate is in freefall (± 3 g defining sensitivity only).
It has form an integrated 10-pin DIP IC, which either makes it easy to use with universal plates and without soldering and with 0.1" Protoboard, and unit is smaller than competing products, all at a lower price.
The board operates from 2.2 to 3.6 V.
Size: 0.4" x 0.5" x 0.09" (without header terminals)
Voltage (VDD): 2.2 to 3.6 V (the pins do not permit 5 V)
Power supply Current: 0.5 mA
Standby power supply Current: less than 3 µA
output format: 3 analog voltages (one signal for each axis) with center in VDD / 2
Sensitivity range (selectable using -g Select pin)
Version MMA7361L: ± 3g (default) or ± 11g
Weight without header terminals: 0.012 oz (0.35 g)
