The TEA5110 is a dual positive 5 V low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator designed to supply microprocessor-based systems and their associated peripheral circuitry. It incorporates two independent regulators, each capable of supplying up to 100 mA.

The two outputs have different operating functions. The first is designed for very low discharge current when the regulator is inactive, making it suitable for applications where the powered circuit must be maintained from an auxiliary supply during standby. The second output provides active discharge when switched off, allowing the peripheral supply rail to be discharged in a controlled manner.

The device also incorporates a reset output with an externally adjustable pulse width for controlling system initialisation. Internal short-circuit and thermal protection are provided.

It is supplied in a plastic DIP-16 package for through-hole mounting. Its specified ambient operating temperature range is 0 to 70 °C.
