Designed with universal compatibility in mind, this docking cradle works with both HP and non-HP laptops with USB-A, USB-C, and Thunderbolt.

For USB-C functionality, the host PC must support the DisplayPort Alt Mode protocol via the USB-C port. Thunderbolt-enabled laptops will operate at USB-C speeds. Port charging and replication are supported on laptops that have implemented the industry USB-C specification. The power button to turn on or wake the system, Wake-on-LAN from a cold or warm connection, Wake-on-LAN from S4/S5, and MAC Address Pass-Through S0, S3, S4, S5 from a cold or warm connection only work on HP or HP-compatible laptops. HP does not provide audio or Ethernet drivers on Mac PCs.
