This compact expansion board connects directly to the GPIO header on a Raspberry Pi B +, Pi A +, Pi 2 or Pi 3 and provides an easy and low-cost solution to control a couple of small DC Motors. Its integrated DRV8835 dual Motor controller allows it to operate from 1.5 V to 11 V, which makes it an excellent control option for low voltage Motors. The board can supply a 1.2 A (1.5 A peak) continuous per Motor, or a 2.4 A (3 A peak) continuous to a single Motor when configured with both channels connected in parallel
Double H-bridge: For controling two DC Motors or a bipolar stepper Motor
Motor supply: 1.5 V to 11 V
Logic supply: 2 V to 7 V
Output Current: 1.2 A continuous (1.5 A peak ) per Motor
Allows parallel outputs to provide 2.4 A continuous (3 A peak) to a single Motor
Supports PWM up to 250 kHz (ultrasonic frequencies allow quieter Motor operation)
Two operating modes: PHASE / ENABLE (default - one direction pin and another for speed) or IN / IN (outputs in mirror mode)
Polarity protection at the power input
Voltage and temperature protection
